1981
Mr. Guerin founded the company, after he got the idea from the USA.
Till 1991, he developed his own company that specialised in cupboard doors.


1993
Integration of Optimum into the Parisot Group.
The size and culture of the company changed from one that developed a high-performance mass production tool of standard “ready to use” cupboard doors, to one that engaged in the activity of made-to-order manufacturing. The company also markets ranges of stockrooms.


2006
The French group GMS investments, based in Grenoble, bought out OPTIMUM from the Parisot group, and implemented a new team to ensure the industrial and commercial development of the company, which was classified under the OPTIMUM brand for home improvement superstores and SIFISA for trade purposes.


2008/9
The decorative palette of products is expanding, technical innovations have been made and business is developing. The company is making a significant effort in terms of products and sales force to revitalise the segment of made-to-order doors.


2010
AZULIS Capital acquired OPTIMUM in order to support its development.
OPTIMUM SaS took over one of its competitors (HOME DECORS France), located near Lille, and founded OPTISPACE for this entity. This acquisition allowed the geographical coverage in Europe to be optimised and the range of products offered to be widened.
OPTIMUM 2013 production: 1.6 million doors (leader in Europe).


2013/14
OPTIMUM is committed to a CSR approach (Corporate Social Responsibility).
